But the focus on sustainability does not end here. DelParco Hotel has installed VDA’s hotel automation technology in all its rooms, helping reduce consumption and optimize resources. Thanks to Micromaster, the Guest Room Management system, the motion sensor detects when the guest enters the room and automatically activates the system’s functions, adjusting lighting and air conditioning to ensure an optimal temperature.

In the same way, when the guest leaves the room, the system switches off the lights and adjusts the temperature to reduce consumption responsibly.

At the time of booking, guests are invited to download the EnterPlease application, available for iOS and Android devices, giving them the possibility to check in directly from their smartphone. Once they arrive at the room door, guests simply place their device near the external reader, which is activated through BLE technology, Bluetooth Low Energy, and manages access to the room.

The external reader has been customized with the hotel logo, the room number and icons that directly communicate the room status and any guest requests to the hotel staff.

Inside the room, guests manage the room functions, including lights, climate and curtains, through the thermostat and the smart switches from the Vitrum collection, a high-design Italian icon made of LED-backlit glass. These control panels are also positioned on both sides of the bed headboard to ensure maximum ease of use.

In addition, the integration of the VDA system with voice control allows guests to adjust all the room’s Guest Room Management System functions without interrupting their activities.

DelParco Hotel has chosen VDA’s in-room entertainment solution, PowerTV ONAIR, based on cloud technology, which allows the hotelier to share promotional content in real time, including guided tours, restaurants and spa services, through the in-room TV.

In addition, thanks to language selection, guests can view only the channels of real interest to them and can also choose from a wide range of additional functions, including music, weather, internet, alarm clock and radio. It is also possible to access a series of extra services, such as booking room service and ordering snacks and beverages directly from the TV display.

Thanks to the “Express Check-out” function available on the smart TV, guests can pay directly from the room without needing to go to reception. The entire PowerTV ONAIR service allows guests to interact with reception directly from the in-room TV, maximizing the benefit for the guest and supporting the work of hotel operators.
