A generic control point can interrupt the continuity of a carefully developed interior. A more refined interface can support the proportions, finishes and visual rhythm of the space.

AN IDENTITY EXPRESSED THROUGH MATERIAL AND FINISH
Axia is Made in Italy, an identity clearly expressed through its material quality, precise detailing and the character of its surfaces.
Italian artisans craft each plate from aluminum, a material selected for its strength, lightness and clean surface definition. The metal gives the switch a solid architectural presence on the wall, while each finish reveals depth, texture and subtle variation.
Axia follows the material aesthetic of the room, connecting the switch to the surrounding finishes, proportions and architectural surfaces.
A DESIGNED INTERFACE FOR GRMS TECHNOLOGY
Axia integrates with VDA’s Guest Room Management System as the visible interface of the room control system. Depending on the project configuration, it can support key in-room functions such as lighting control, climate control, scenarios, comfort settings and guest services.
This makes the switch part of both the spatial composition and the technical infrastructure of the room. The control point contributes to how the room is specified, used and managed.
MATERIALS IN DIALOGUE WITH THE INTERIOR
Axia uses aluminum as its structural base, but the material value comes through the finishing work. Color, brushing, texture and surface protection define how each plate relates to wall finishes, furniture details, lighting fixtures, door hardware and other architectural elements.
In a guest room, the switch does not disappear into the background. It sits at eye and hand level, where guests see it, touch it and read it as part of the space. For this reason, its material presence needs the same level of attention as the other visible details of the room.
